Silke Gebel is MP in the Berlin state parliament and former leader of the Green political group in the Berlin state parliament.

We talk about our time in political activism volunteering for the Young European Federalists (JEF), what it's like to move from activism to politics, and what she learnt in both of these arenas. Silke also shares what she learnt about mentorship, navigating politics and her advice for anyone wanting to join politics.
